The Whistler

We expect our judges to be shrewd and honest. Their ethics and impartiality are the bedrock of the whole judicial system. We trust them to manage the orderly and efficient flow of justice, to protect the rights of all litigants, to penalize those who do wrong, and to ensure fair trials.
But what occurs when the law bends or takes a bribe? It’s uncommon, but it occurs. She’s a lawyer, not a policeman, and it’s her job to react to grievances dealing with judicial misconduct. After nine years with the Board, she understands that incompetence, not corruption causes most issues.
But a corruption case crosses her desk. A formerly disbarred attorney is back in company with a fresh individuality. He goes by the name Greg Myers, and he promises to know of a Florida judge who has stolen more cash than all other crooked judges joined. And not only crooked judges in Florida.
What’s the source of the ill gotten gains? It appears the judge was covertly involved with the building of a big casino on Native American land. The Coast Mafia is currently helping itself to a considerable skim of each month’s cash and funded the casino. The judge looking the other way and is getting a piece.
But Greg needs to put a stop to it. His only customer is someone who needs to blow the whistle and gather millions under Florida law and understands the truth.
Fatal is something different.
